The first post..

This is the first post, of my first blog for the eventuality that I may have a first reader.

Although this may look like a lot of empty space right now, I intend on filling it shortly with projects that I am working on and sharing other interests that I have. Eventually this blog will be linked to the website I am building, but like my blog, it is currently an empty page waiting to be crafted.

A bit about me, I am a 28 year old artist hobbyist who has a real passion for illustration and movie prop replicas. I have been doing both character illustration and graphic design for several years, but I have yet to publish anything substantial. My thought was that if I could create a blog it might help me motivate myself to actually start posting works that I have done as well as encourage me to work on such projects more than I have been doing in the past year. I feel that I have put my relatively boring career in finance way ahead of my passion, which has left me feeling quite empty as of late.

Moving on...

This blog will from time to time mirror that on my space, but I am hoping to keep this much more specific to my passions and not just day to day banter.
